Dear St. Thomas Family:
First let me wish you all a Happy and Blessed Easter. We have all earned a break, and I hope you and your family will take some time to enjoy each other's company. When we come back on April 29th, the run to the end of the year will be a quick one! Our 8th grade graduates on May 31st, and the rest of the school gets out at 12:00 on June 7th. Can you believe this year is nearly over?
Don't forget our puppy raffle starting on Monday, April 29th. Tickets are $20.00 each for our little French Bulldog who is AKC registered as a pet. We are looking for a family to win him and love him.
May Crowning will be held on May 7th. All are invited to come.
Third grade will be making their First Communion on May 11th at 10:00am in our church.
Please remember our children as they move forward in their faith and grow in service to the Lord.
Our "Get on the Bus" service project is still in effect. The first bus we are sponsoring leaves on May 18th, so please remember to send intros much-needed donations to support children who only get to see their parent who is incarcerated once or twice a year. Thanks to this beautiful Ministry, we can reunite a parent and child for at least a day to re-establish those essential parent-child connections most of us take for granted.
Lots of events taking place in May, including Sports Banquet on May 17th (fliers will go home when we return from break); Book Fair, School Open House, and Science Fair all happening May 19 & 20; School -wide Talent Show will take place in the Hall on the morning of May 14th (8:15am, right after Assembly). Applications fave gone out and must be returned by May 3rd. Join us and support our talented students.
