Dear St. Thomas Family:

As we move through Lent, we are so pleased to see our children taking responsibility for Stations of the Cross.  Each week a different class presents the school with the Stations in the Church Fridays at 1:00.  Parents and even parishioners have asked if it is okay for them to come to our service.  The answer is “Of Course!”  So please join us for a moving experience on Fridays in Lent as our children show us the Way of the Cross.

Our 8th grade took the Writing Placement Test with Notre Dame High School recently, and we received the results this week.  We are pleased with the good results of the students, with a couple of our students hitting high marks!  It is reassuring to see that a test graded by outside experts affirms that we are doing a good job educating our students!

Next Wednesday, March 27, please join us at the Spaghetti Factory for our school Dine-Out.  You have all been so generous in patronizing our events, and the benefit to the school is significant.  We thank you, as always, for your support.

Next week on Thursday, Yearbook pictures will be taken of Chess Club, Safety, and School Leadership.  If your student belongs to any of those groups, they may wear their special t-shirt (Safety and Leadership) with the uniform.  For Chess, come in your regular uniform (no P.E. clothes that day) and we will pose you with Chess pieces to showoff your smiling faces to the world!

Spring Pictures will be taken on April 2nd.  We will remind you again next week.

Candle Sales are ending on Monday, March 25th.  On Tuesday, March 26, Cookie Dough will go on sale!  Cookie Dough ends on April 1st so we can get our orders in and back before Easter.  Busy times!

The next school Mass is on April  9th.  Join us if you are able.

Blessings,

Dr. Dian Pizurie
