Dear St. Thomas Family:
We are back and have about 5 weeks of school left (4 if your student is an 8th grader).
These last weeks are critically important for your student's education as teachers begin to review and wrap up units and chapters. This is the time when distractions are many and focus gets lost. Let's work together to ensure a strong finish to the year.
Bust weeks ahead in the life of the Schoo: We have until next Friday, May 10, to finish our contributions to our service project, Get On The Bus. My office is overflowing right now with your generous donations, so thank you for all you have given to this important work.
Our school mass is this Tuesday, May 7, which will include May Crowning. All are welcome to join us. Mass is at 9:00am.
May 17th is our Sports Banquet; forms have already gone home. Scholastic Book Fair is coming up May 19 through 21. The Book Fair will be open after masses on May 19. Students can view the Fair during school on Monday, May 20. It will be open Monday evening from 5:30 to 8:00pm and on Tuesday from 8:00 to 10:00am. We are looking for parents to help.
While Book Fair is going on, we also will have Open House and Science Fair, 5:30 to 7:30pm Monday evening. Come and visit classrooms, buy a book or two, and view amazing Science Projects our scholars have created. Busy days!
Talent Show applications have gone out and were returned today, Friday, May 3rd. However, if our entertainers failed to get their forms in, we will take them on Monday morning. The show will be in the Hall, Tuesday, May 14th. It will start after Assembly which will also be in the Hall. Please join us
And our Puppy Raffle is on! Tickets are $20.00 for a chance to win a beautiful little French Bulldog male who is registered as a pet with AKC. Raffle tickets are available through Friday, May 24. Don't miss this!
Let's see pour 3rd grade in our prayers as they get ready for First Communion, Saturday, May 11th. The service is at 10:00am in our church.
